When placing brush out for pickup, branches are not to exceed ten inches (10”) in diameter and eight feet (8’) in length. Cut ends are to be facing the street and piled as neatly as possible. All bushes, trees, etc. must have the stumps and/or root balls removed and placed separately from the brush pile.
Roots and Stumps are picked up usually once a week and should be placed in a separate pile as they cannot go through the chipper. If you require a pick up, please call the Public Works Department (716‐683‐5700) and you will be placed on a list.
The Village of Depew does not pick up grass clippings, waste products, railroad ties, bags of leaves, small branches and trimmings or any building debris.
