Garbage Collection
Porter Service for Garbage and Recycling is available for those in medical need. The application (PDF) must be filled out and submitted to the Superintendent of Public Works.
Additional Garbage totes are $90 for the 95 Gallon and $60 for the 65 Gallon, payable at Clerk/Treasurer's Office, 85 Manitou Street, or online.
If cardboard cannot fit into your recycle tote, please cut it to the size of the recycle tote (no larger than 2' x 2') and place the bundled stack on top of your open recycle tote.

If the holiday falls on a weekday, collection will be one day later for that day and each day after for the week of the holiday
Large Trash Pickup
TWO (2) large items will be picked up per week with your regular tote garbage pickup. Large trash are items that would not normally fit in the tote due to size, such as mattresses and boxsprings, recliner, table. No white goods, electronics, electrical goods or bags. Carpet and wood must be cut down to four (4) foot sections and bundled, each bundle weighing no more than 60 pounds. 3 bundles of carpet is considered one large item. Sleeper sofas must have the metal bed frame and mattress removed. Windows/Mirrors must have all glass broken out of them. The framing is to be broken down and bundled in four (4) foot sections. All doors must be cut in half to meet the four (4) foot restriction. All bags of garbage must be in your tote.
White Goods
For Disposal of refrigerators/freezers (fee applies), hot water tanks, dishwashers, stoves, washers/dryers - A resident MUST CALL the Treasurer/Clerk's Office at 683-7451 for a pickup. Refrigerator/freezer doors are to be removed. Items are to be left at the curb after their pickup has been paid for and scheduled with the Clerk's Office. Items will be picked up by the Department of Public Works.
Portable A/C units (fee applies) and microwaves (no fee) are drop off only at 200 Rutherford Pl during office hours of 7:30 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday.
There is a fee of $15 for disposal of Refrigerators, Freezers, and AC Units. You must pay the fees at the Village of Depew Treasurer/Clerk's Office during normal office hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. You will be provided a pick-up date (non-portable units only) at time of payment. Please attach your paid receipt to you appliance as proof of payment for the pickup.
Hypodermic Needles/Syringes/Expired Medications
Effective March 1, 2015, all needles, syringes and expired drugs must be disposed of at a designated drop off facility. A list of drop of locations can be found here.
Tire Disposal
Drop Off Service only! You can drop your tires off at the Department of Public Works between 7 am and 2:30 pm Monday through Friday at a charge of $5 per passenger tire and $15 per truck tire.
