The Recreation Department operates an Ice Rink with a 200’ X 85’ ice surface, a full size swimming pool and a wading pool at Firemen’s Park, located at the corner of Terrace Blvd and Erie St. In addition, Firemen’s Park boasts a picnic shelter, full size playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and an enclosed structure for events. Firemen’s Park is also home to the Depew Fire Department’s Firefighters Memorial.
In addition to Firemen’s Park, the Recreation Department also operates playgrounds at the following locations: · Enez & Evane Dr. · George Urban Blvd. (east of Ledyard Ave.) · Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament (French & George Urban) · John A. Sciole School (Frederick St. off of Lee St.) · St. James Street at Sanilac Bridge · St. Barnabas School (George Urban & Dick Rd.) · Sts. Peter & Paul Church (Falcon Dr. & Houston St.) · Dorset Drive (Btwn. Bellwood Ln. & Center Dr.) · Olmstead Avenue (east of Transit Rd.)
