This historic village, incorporated in 1894 as a railroad town, is one of the largest villages in Western New York. We are situated just 10 miles east of the City of Buffalo.

2013-2014 Village Tax Bill Information is available on the Treasurer/Clerk's Page under the Department tab on the left. Payments for taxes are NOT accepted after October 31, 2013.

GRANT ST. WILL REOPEN TO TRAFFIC ON MAY 24, 2013. OLMSTEAD IS REOPENED.

Starting Monday August 13, 2012, contractors will be performing the reconstruction work on the sanitary and storm sewers in the Lee St. area. Lee St Meeting Wed May 8, 2013 at 7 pm in the Depew Village Hall Senior Center - 85 Manitou St. Presentation regarding Inflow and Infiltration.

Effective January 30, 2012 due to changes in recycling regulations the Village will no longer be able to pickup TV's and or electronic devices. These items can be dropped off at our DPW site AT 200 Rutherford Pl from 7 am until 3 pm Monday - Friday.

Garbage & Recycle Totes - will be delivered starting June 18, 2013. Local Law 3 of 2013 - Chapter 198 - Solid Waste. Cost for 95 gal garbage tote and 65 gal recycle tote will be $94.97 and will be assessed on the Village Tax bill due July 1, 2013.
