Recycle Bins are available in the Clerk's Office at 85 Manitou St for a $5.00 fee.

Snow Plow Permits (Application) are only issued in the Clerk's Office at 85 Manitou St between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm Monday - Friday. The fee is $15.00 per vehicle . Proof of general liability insurance and workers compensation must be provided before permit will be approved. Renewal Information. Village Regulations regarding plow permits.

The Department of Public Works handles the following services:

Snow Plowing
Garbage Collection & Recycling
Disposal of TV's, Refrigerators, Freezers and AC Units - fee for TV's $10, Fee for Refrig, Freezers, AC Units are $15 each - Fee applies whether TV is picked up or if it is dropped off at our Department of Public Works.
Paving and Road Maintenance
Tree Removal and Trimming
Storm Sewer Maintenance
Brush Pickup (call 683-5700 for pickup)

On which holidays is garbage not collected? New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day (If the holiday falls on a weekday, collection will be one day later for that day and each day after for the week of the holiday)

When is large trash pickup? TWO items will be picked up per week. No appliances or electrical goods

How do I dispose of a refrigerator? To dispose of appliances - including refrigerators, hot water tanks, A/C units, dishwashers, stoves, washers/dryers - A resident MUST CALL the Department of Public Works at 683-5700 for a pickup. There is a fee for disposal of TV's - $10, Refrigerators, Freezers, and AC Units are $15. You must pay the fees at the Village of Depew Clerk's Office during normal office hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Refrigerator doors are to be duct taped or faced against the house. Items are to be left by the side of the house or driveway not at the curb. In inclement weather item is to be left in garage or covered. Items will be picked up on Thursdays & Fridays by the Department of Public Works.
